...May Flowers

I have quite a growing collection of flowers on my window ledge. Inspired by them, and the fabulous Rochester sunshine, I thought I'd post my entire collection of saved bouquet photos. All of these are in our tentative color scheme of blue, orange/yellow, and white. I have forgotten where many of these images come from, so my attributions will be spotty. Bad blogger, I know.

Daffodils and narcissus, featured in the top two bouquets, are my favorite flowers. It's unfortunate that daffodils are unavailable in October...I love the modern quality of the third bouquet - how unexpected to group calla lilies with freesia. I bet this smells like angels.

I'm on a dahlia kick lately...must be all those Martha Stewart pom poms. Tom bought the most beautiful dahlia plants at the Farmers' Market this weekend. (Left bouquet from the knot, right from MS Weddings.)

The color palette in these next two are exquisite. The right bouquet is from ink & peat. She is so talented, it's sick. While I'm not a huge fan of roses, this bouquet totally does it for me. Maybe it's the cranberries?

Some blue and white bouquets, for Tom. I love the white stephanotis with the blue on the right. So simple and heartfelt.

And finally, the best for last. Irises have a special meaning for me, and are affordable to boot. I was unsure how they would look as a single grouping, until I found these on the knot. Cost effective, diy-ready, and pretty. How I hope the wedding will be.

I love the blue ones, of course. Speaking of blue, I saw a young lady doctor in blue scrubs get out at my train stop this evening, and thought of you.
