Friday Inspiration

It is really lovely to be facing the next two weeks of vacation without having sat for an exam this morning. Usually I am frantically studying and packing and then get in the car exhausted! But I can take my sweet time driving down tomorrow, and that suits me just fine.


In honor of my upcoming dress shopping trip, I thought I'd post this dress from Lara Helene. I really dislike bridal gowns these days - the strapless-ness, the huge skirt, the pick-ups - and I think this dress is just perfect. Perfect for me, maybe not, as I don't know how dated it will appear in photos. But it is really refreshing to see a dress with sleeves, a touch of color, and style.


Also, I came across this DIY project from Once Wed. (I think I link to them every week. They have the neatest DIY projects every Wednesday.) Total cost for this ring pillow? $7.70. Yes!
