Birthday Wrap-Up

Here's a few pictures from this weekend's festivities, beginning with the Grasshopper pie I made on Saturday morning. (Picture styled by Tom)

Last night, my friends took me out for a relaxing dinner and cake, courtesy of Anat. (I think she deserves a blog nickname...)

Tom gifted me with a beautiful necklace from The Lola Collection. The story goes that each necklace is a word taken from a vintage French poem or love letter, set under glass. Here it is being modeled by what my mother tells me is a ring box that belonged to my great grandmother. We replaced the original chain with a small box-style one.

My word, "soute," apparently means "baggage" or "munitions hold." Hmmm...that's one way of calling me a ball and chain. Thanks. I love it.
