#484

I wish this week would never end, and I wished it never happened. You see, tomorrow is my last official day of medical school. We've spent the last four days in and out of lectures devoted to "successful interning." I wish every day of medical school was like this. And then I realize, internship will be like this, only with some days lasting 27+ hours (as opposed to 4), and with learning on the fly instead of sitting on my butt in a lecture hall with time to think. And then it's home at night to finish a paper that was due in December, contractural paperwork for my new position, and application paperwork for a new apartment, as I sell my stuff and watch my formerly clean apartment devolve into chaos.

So, on to brighter things.

It must have been 2 years ago that I discovered Lena Corwin's wedding rings. I have been particularly enamored with the one made out of pearl wire. A few spins around Etsy, and I've found some inspiration.

(luckystaar - $6 each)

(SecretCharm - $150 for 2)

I have half a mind to build a stackable set out of sterling silver, especially if they go for only $6. My idea would be to wear a silver set on my right hand because it should blend with my wedding rings. (I have the world's most beautiful wedding ring, by the way, and that ain't no exaggeration.) Or, I could build a set in yellow gold, for the days when I feel like a little more color.

And as someone who has never dyed their hair, this model from ban.do has me dying to go red (to match my temper, pun intended) and re-cut my bangs.

And I've been dying to make homey comfort food. I'm thinking of making this brioche French toast recipe (courtesy of Sunday Suppers) to celebrate Tom and my first weekend as a married couple living together. Get ready Tom. I predict an extra 15 pounds in our future.
