I like to avoid things. Just ask my family. I especially like to avoid career acceleration things. One of my Family Medicine residents called me out on it once, saying that I like to sabotage myself because I am afraid to realize what I am truly capable of. So, I almost sabotaged myself out of attending the
American College of Medical Genetics conference next week. But I bit the bullet and decided to go, thanks to my awesome mentor at school. This is my first national conference ever, and it makes me laugh that the only things I am worried about are: 1) getting a cheap, last-minute flight, and 2) what to wear! Wish me luck.

the flight i can't help you with, but business casual is always a safe bet ;)
have a great time at the conference, sounds fascinating!
I always do that to... taking jobs that I am over qualified for so that I won't be challenged (cause what if I fail!)... trying to work on it :)
