*Gilt Groupe is kind of like an online sample sale - they sell designer goods (womens' clothes, jewelry, shoes, handbags; mens clothes', and kids' clothes) for a significant discount. Membership is free, but you have to be "invited" to join. Shoot me an email/comment if you are interested in joining. I joined because while most things are still ridiculously out of my financial abilities, I thought I might get lucky with something for Tom for the wedding, or maybe a dress for myself. They have some truly interesting pieces, but sell on a first-come first-served basis and things sell-out quickly. It's always interesting to see what sells out as it is often the most expensive items that go first. Whose economy is it, after all?
