I am in L-O-V-E

Originally I was going to post about some candle holders for that parallel universe where I get married on a beach. But I had to interrupt myself.

Saipua. They're a floral and soap shop in Red Hook that I should probably keep secret. But her flowers are truly magical - all English garden, "organic," unstructured arrangements. Perhaps it's because she's in Red Hook - where Tom once remarked everything seems to be marketed directly to us, even the handmade and hand-hammered jewelery, as if we were so predictable - but man, I am vibing on her designs. My little scheme...Saipua for the flowers, and Baked for the sweet and salty cupcakes. I don't care if the guests like it or not, it would be like my version of a Fantasy Football team. Pure bliss.

Okay...on to the originally intended post. I love me some Nettleton Hollow, which is a website that retails branches. So this guy is really savvy and has realized how much his product can tie into DIY brides. He even has a blog where he tries out the newest wedding craze projects and posts instructions (and the results). Yes, I love him too. A while back, he posted the following picture, a mock-up of a design he saw at Takashimaya on 5th Avenue:

Tonight, I found a similar thing (for a lot more money) for sale on Velocity. (Which, by the way, is definitely worth a look. I have already picked out a few birthday presents - BUT THEY'RE SECRET.)

Anyhow, what an absolutely stunning centerpiece (and easy to make!) for that super chic beach bride. Just saying.
