#444

By the way, four is my lucky number, so I'm quite in love with the title of this post. I'm not sure that the topic will do it justice.

Remember this bedroom from a few posts back?

Well, I scored a "look for less" Pottery Barn duvet cover from eBay, and am quite pleased with my purchase.

Unfortunately, the wave fabric used on the pillows is a budget breaker at somewhere around $169 for a yard.

So off to the interweb I went, to kill many hours instead of researching migraines for my class project. (Quick: pretend you have a billion dollars - a billion dollars! - and 10 years to make a lasting contribution to the future of trauma care or personalized medicine. What would you do?) Two options I thought of:

1. Go the ticking stripe route

2. Go the mildly ethnic/block print trend route

Pottery Barn Kristine pattern, now discontinued and only available on eBay. Found via The Lettered Cottage.

Which one would you choose? Or should I just scrap it all and go all-white with only the striped duvet to set things off?

I really love the Kristine! I was stalking that one on ebay as our guest room/office bedspread, and the one I ended up getting is similar: http://www.crateandbarrel.com/family.aspx?c=4800&f=33027.
