Ah, the land of the markdown. It's amazing the sales Tom and I discover whenever we are in Indiana. For instance, we purchased 2 table cloths, a table runner, 24 napkins, and 2 monogrammed hand towels for $135 (thanks to our generous wedding gift cards). Mind you, one of these tablecloths would have cost $135. Anyone for dinner? Thinking of making this Tom Valenti pasta e fagioli recipe for New Year's Eve tomorrow night.

We ran into these vintage subway sign reproductions at Restoration Hardware today (I know, groan) and we were intrigued. I remember seeing them in a shelter magazine before, but can't remember which one. So, I whipped up my own version, which I think is a bit more authentic than the RH version. Which of course reminded me of this lighthouse poster I am dying to get:


And this bathroom I loooooovvvvvveeeeeee. I'm obsessed with the color gray.
