Today was a big day. I'm already nauseous from the fried food, upscale Mediterranean catering, beer, champagne, shots, and Gatorade. Six more hours until I have to be awake again. But...
...There are now two Doctors Whimsy in our household. Congratulations to Tom, who successfully defended his PhD today. Yes, his degree is higher than mine.
How unbelievably touching to see the number of friends, true friends, who turned out to celebrate. My husband is, if nothing else, a very loved man. Thank you to everyone who cheered him on. And no thanks for the shots.
A song is in order. I have no idea why this has been running through my mind.
And now to sleep. May Tom sleep 30 hours...
